Recently the National Flood Insurance Program released revised Flood
Insurance Rate Maps for Sapulpa, Ok, and the surrounding areas. This has
caused many tracts of land to be determined to be in a flood hazard area.
Many have inquired about a survey to determine whether their home is above
or below the Base Flood Elevation for their area. We can help determine the
elevation for a home. However, to determine whether or not the home is in or
out of the flood hazard area we need to have a Base Flood Elevation. This
elevation is determined by the Flood Insurance Study. In some areas this
elevation has not been set. To determine whether a Base Flood Elevation
exists for you area please include your legal description if you are requesting
this type of survey. If there is a Base Flood Elevation for your area we can
then determine whether the home is in or out of the Flood Hazard Area. For
more information of a Flood Certificate please contact us by e-mail or phone
and we can answer any questions you may have.
